What are Licensed Designs?

Licensed Designs are images, artwork, or other artistic items that are owned by a company or person who charges to use them. Artspira has access to many Licensed Designs and offers them for your creative use, at a small fee. Licensed Designs vary in price and are sold individually.

Licensed Designs include cutting data and embroidery data.

Licensed Designs are available only in certain countries/regions.

Notes

Please be aware of the followings:

  • Licensed Designs cannot be used for commercial purpose.
  • Once you delete your Artspira account, you will not be able to use Licensed Designs you purchased.
  • Licensed Designs can be used only on products that are compatible with Artspira.
  • Licensed Designs cannot be used in any app besides Artspira. They cannot be downloaded or saved to a computer.
  • Licensed Designs from other sites or services cannot be used with Artspira.
  • Licensed Designs can be transferred to the product you register to Artspira, but cannot be saved to the product's internal memory or an external device.

  • Please note the following regarding Disney designs:
    • Disney designs will work with specified connected machines except for the PR Series.
    • Disney designs cannot be placed on an artboard with another Disney design.
    • Disney design embroidery data cannot be scaled and cannot be flipped horizontally.
    • Disney design cutting data can be scaled and can be flipped horizontally on the LCD panel only after you have transferred it to your Brother machine.

  • Artspira+ subscription plan members receive an added discount on Licensed Designs and can still use purchased Licensed Designs even if they cancel their plan membership.

FAQs


[1] Can I use the Licensed Designs I purchased in the past with any new Brother machines I add to my collection? Can I transfer my Licensed Designs to multiple machines?

Of course! You can transfer purchased Licensed Designs to other compatible Brother machines after you have registered them in the Artspira app. Licensed Designs must be transferred to each machine individually.


[2] I moved to another country or region and changed my location in the app. Now I can't see the Licensed Designs I purchased before I moved. What should I do?

Some functions and data may be hidden or unavailable if regional settings are changed. To use purchased content, change your location setting to the country/region where you purchased the Licensed Designs to view them again.


[3] I moved to another country or region and can no longer purchase Licensed Designs. What should I do?

Licensed Designs are available only in certain countries/regions.

[4] Licensed Designs are not available in my country or region. What should I do?

[5] I accidentally purchased embroidery data instead of cutting data. Or the opposite situation. Will I receive a refund?

We're very sorry, but we cannot issue refunds.


[6] When I try to make a purchase, the message "M3331### Code" appears. What happened and what should I do?

If message like this appears, there may have been a purchasing error. Tap the Troubleshooting link to see how to resolve the issue.

[7] When I try to make a purchase, the message "Payment cannot be made from this device because the selected design is being paid from another device." appears. What happened and what should I do?

You may be trying to make a purchase from another device using the same Artspira ID. In this case, please complete or cancel the purchase on the other device. If you cancel, there will be a short delay before you can make the purchase again on a different device.
