Maintenance

Maintenance of the printer may be carried out as required. However, some environments may require more frequent maintenance (for example, dusty environments).

Clean the Printer (Exterior)

  • Wipe any dust and marks from the printer's exterior using a soft, dry cloth. Use a cloth slightly damp with water on difficult to remove marks.
    IMPORTANT
Do not use paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or any other organic solvent. These may deform or damage the printer.

Clean the Print Head

  • Wipe the print head with a lint-free cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Carry out the maintenance frequently.

    • Use the isopropyl alcohol or ethanol according to the manufacturer's safety guidelines, as applicable.

Label Peeler Maintenance

When using the Label Peeler (PA-LP-007), adhesive may accumulate at the slot and roller parts, resulting in a media jam, or the slot and roller parts may become dirty.
  • Wipe the paper exit slot, peeler roller, and platen roller with a lint-free cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol or ethanol as shown in the illustration.
